Web, E-mail and Social
Digital media is most effective when using multiple channels to reach your customers. A well designed website is a great foundation, but that is only the beginning. In a non-personal digital world, using e-mail and social media will help to create a personal connection. I still believe that people buy from people, so keeping your customers in the loop on who you are and what your brand stands for will help you stand out from the crowd.
These are examples of designs I have created with a focus on three major digital marketing tools: Web, E-mail and Social Media. Maintaining all of these channels can be challenging. Assisting with this task is also a service I offer to clients who are already short on time. If you like what you see or want to know more, please contact me for a free quote.
A well designed content-rich website that is updated regularly is a necessity for your business these days. Your web presence will help new customers find you in search engines and give existing customers a place to send new referrals. A new trend is finding a structured template and just changing out colors and graphics to match your brand and promotions. You have seen this if you have landed on websites with large rotating home page images. I have designed hundreds of these large graphic images that can easily be switched out regularly to keep your website looking great.
Sherry's Kitchenwares is a local Wisconsin company that offers Professional cookware supplies and new/used equipment for restaurants, bars or home kitchens. This is a simple web responsive design to assist in marketing a newer business to local customers. I created the design elements and layout that were applied to a pre-existing template.
Shop For Your Girl is an affiliate website that helps the guys find the perfect gift for the girls in their life. I designed the look and layout of the homepage which was then implemented by a website developer. The purpose is to make it easy to get the shopping done and then it's time to do more fun things like watch videos and read blogs.
Stand and Deliver Hosiery is a website created to advertise a product created specifically for beauty professionals. The look of the site was made to match the existing logo and packaging for the product.
Shear Appetite was a website that sold professional salon quality haircutting shears. This site is no longer live but it provides a great example of a simple design that is eye catching and easy to navigate. It was eventually combined with another website and removed as a stand alone brand for one stop shopping convenience.
Don't let customers forget about you! Collecting e-mail addresses and keeping in touch with customers is a great way to communicate company updates, professional tips, new products and promotions. Offer exclusive savings to those who provide their highly guarded e-mail address with the promise of never selling or sharing. A well designed email will keep your customers coming back. Here is a small sampling of emails I have designed.
Premier Beauty is a Chicago based distributor of Professional Beauty products. This e-mail was designed to tell customers about a new brand they would be offering. This was designed to keep the same look and feel of the brand.
Paramount Beauty is a large distributor of professional hair, nail and skincare products based in NYC. This was one in a series of emails designed to let customers know that they had a new e-commerce responsive website. The benefits of using the website were highlighted in each email. The website had a similar look and feel to keep a consistent brand presence.
The Style Garage is a small distributor of Professional Beauty products based in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This e-mail was designed to tell customers about a sale. This was sent in conjunction with a promotion printed in a flyer.
Staying connected with your customers through social media is essential. Using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social sites will create multiple locations for your customers to find you, depending on their preference. New and updated graphics added to these type of pages regularly will keep them from becoming boring. Below are some examples of graphics created for Facebook. These type of graphics would also work well for Pinterest.
